Thank you Austin & Arthur for the great show (in fact this is “神回” for me).
It’s been almost 9 months since I came back to Tokyo from LA permanently after two-year living there, and it’s true the more I spend time in Japan again the more I feel like Japanese culture or way of thinking really do not fit me…
However, through couple of your shows I’ve changed my mind recently and have been trying to embrace Japan as a person who can understand good aspects of both Japanese and American culture, way of thinking and life style, not just rejecting my original Japanese sense (this 神回 is super decisive !)
Question:
I think Austin mentioned when you go back to the US it sometimes makes you feel like as if you went back to your high-school days or something like that. Do you think it’s a great opportunity to reconfirm your identities, broaden/deepen your insights and finally embrace some negative aspects of American culture you might sometimes feel ?
